Renaissance art prints can add a touch of class and style to your wall and who better to pick from than Tintoretto?

The Venetian's work was bold, emotional and highly unique. Comparisons with El Greco are inevitable and both shared a desire to go their own way artistically. Such boldness is ideal for a framed art print, where key detail is still visible even from a smaller reproduction.

Besides his Titian-influenced colour schemes there are also some highly skilled drawings that may also make a good choice for art prints. There is a good number of his sketches remaining, considering how long ago his career took hold and prints of drawings have become particularly popular over recent years. Tintoretto's inspiration as a draughtsman was Michelangelo and his prints are also very much in demand.

Followers of Tintoretto can find plenty of choice from his highly productive career. Known as a furious painter, he would produce complex compositions in just a matter of days and the outcome of that is a huge plethora of work from his 60 year career. There is also a variation of style from his earlier work to the darker tones of his final two decades.

All art from the Renaissance is entirely copyright free within most countries and so retailers are able to include their entire career's work. Whilst modern artists continue to be the most popular choices for art prints, some of the Renaissance masters continue to draw their own interest.
